The bike-kitchen
A Bike-kitchen is a place where you can repair, recover, imagine bicycles, and especially a starting point of reflection on consumption and lifestyles, mobility and transport, on the whole system/world, prisoner of the capitalist logic of power/oil/war/pollution/depletion and indiscriminate exploitation of resources of the planet.
The Bike kitchen of Physics is a non-profit activity and self-managed by the students.
We don’t ask for money but we are interested in exchanging spare parts and knowledge. Small donations will be used to support the project and buy new tools and parts.
Free bike-sharing
We offer (to everybody!) a service of free Bike-sharing: you can take one of our bikes for one day (or if needed some days).
If you brake something you don’t have to pay for it, but repair it! 🙂
Opening
bike-kitchen: Â every Wednesday h 15.00-19.00
bike-sharing: Â every day (from Monday to Friday) h 9.00-19.00
Where are we
The bike-kitchen is inside the Sapienza University campus (piazza Aldo Moro, Rome). You have to enter the Department of Physics (Marconi building) and go at the left of the library, ground floor.
